Today I am making paintings that at first glance may appear random, simple but upon closer inspection reveal definite decisions and a little luck. Of course arguably all action requires a decision, some are more deliberate and that is what I hope for.

In late 2009 I began making abstract paintings. Titles do not always present themselves, in that situation I describe them as Abstract Landscapes. I feel titles are important and try to think of them during the process. Sometimes the titles come to me quickly and stick, other times less quick they evolve during my process.
